“Juniperus virginiana”, Aromatic Red Cedar has a reddish or violet-brown heartwood with yellow sapwood that can appear in streaks and stripes within the heartwood. Aromatic Red Cedar is commonly used in closets and chests to repel moths and other insects due to its aromatic and distinct scent.

From: Typically found in the Eastern United States in states such as Kentucky & Tennessee. It is also known to be found in California
Use: Cedar chests, closet linings, siding, fence posts

Availability: Predominately found in 4/4 thickness.
